The California lemon law lawyer who publishes this blog is proud to announce the successful resolution of the lawsuit Cervantes v. West Covina Toyota, et al. The Cervantes v. West Covina Toyota lawsuit alleged that when the plaintiff, Enrique Cervantes, purchased a 2011 Toyota Tacoma from West Covina Toyota, that the Los Angeles County Toyota dealership illegally backdated the automobile purchase contract to an earlier date, thereby causing the Mr. Cervantes to be charged for illegal and undisclosed pre-transaction interest.
Mr. Cervantes’s lemon law attorney further alleged in the lawsuit that by virtue of the contract backdating Mr. Cervantes was entitled to rescind his vehicle purchase contract and get a refund for the money paid towards the vehicle.
